Bumps of Emotion and Bubbles of Joy
Your Moments Preserved as Your Day Unfolds
All the work that goes into planning for a fabulous party can be so rewarding, but it also deserves to be noticed and remembered. That’s where I come in! I’m here for all the quirky details, the making of new friends and the reunions with old.
When the event day arrives, you deserve to put on whatever makes you feel amazing and go partake in allllll the festivities. While you’re doing that, I’ll be all over the place documenting your day. I even make a point to grab the posed portraits (if you want them).
I live for the candid moments. Approaching event photography with a blend of photojournalistic, candid, and lightly directed images to cover all bases.
Client Review
“The photos really captured the joy of that day.”
“I had a wonderful experience working with Kim. She photographed my boys’ joint birthday party, and I loved the expressions and moments she captured. She was so patient with my toddler (even when he wanted to be the photographer!), and she made us feel comfortable right away. She was very responsive in the planning stages, talked with me about exactly what I was looking for from the photos, and she made sure to check in with me during the party to see if there were any additional shots I thought she had missed. The photos are such a special memory and really captured the joy of that day.”

I’ll reach out the week before your event to go over any details.

I try to keep things running smoothly and on your timeline. But I’m flexible and know things shift. I’ll check in with you throughout the day to make sure I’m not missing any important moments.

After the Session ⇢
Once we say our goodbyes, then I’m off to pick the best of the best images for your final gallery so that I can hand edit them for you.
I’ll deliver your final gallery via an online site where you can download the images and order professional prints and boutique products.
This all sounds great, but you’re wondering….

We sign a contract and you send over a deposit to hold your date. A few weeks before we email or chat about your timeline, important details, and VIP guests. The week of your event, your remaining balance is due, and we’ll also have a phone call to go over final details.
-
Yes, if you request formal portraits we will spend some time doing posed photos. We talk about this in one of our initial calls. I prefer to set aside a block of time before your event starts to knock these out.
-
I always check in with you about 45 mins before our time is up - making sure we’ve captured everything you were hoping to get. If you want me to stay on there’s an extra hourly fee to cover this. I love to party and I’m always happy to stay until the end.
Client Review
“The photos are perfect!”
“Kim photographed my parents 50th anniversary party. She was (as always) on time, professional and engaged. She shot all the pics we asked for (and plenty we didn’t know we’d want). She went above and beyond, and the photos are PERFECT! She captured the day, with plenty of group photos, individual photos of the two of them, and beautiful family shots. We would recommend her for any event.”
